Student ministry

Our primary meeting time for students is youth group on Wednesday nights from 6-8:30pm for a gathering of fun, worship music, biblical teaching, and small group discussion. Students are also invited to our homework zone and hangout zone every Wednesday from 4-6pm before youth group starts at 6. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe space for high school and junior high students to spiritually flourish as they personally experience the power of Jesus. 

Join us on Sundays at 10:00am where we gather first in the adult service for the worship portion of the service. Then, 7th-12th grade students are invited to head “backstage” for a special youth-centered activity and message on the same topic as the main service message. This is a great time for students to have fun, connect with other students, and hear the sermon topic in a way that is directly applicable in your student's life. Parents can expect their child to re-join their family near the end of the service. Youth Backstage meets every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month, when we remain in the adult service so families can participate in the service and communion together.  

All of our leaders strive to personally welcome and create meaningful connections with our students. They build relationships as mentors, provide deep conversation, and love to have fun with our students. Our leaders are all volunteers and attend as leaders because they are passionate about helping our students experience Jesus Christ on a personal level. All of our student leaders have been background checked and approved for leadership by our Director of Student Ministries.

We send a weekly youth ministry e-mail to parents to keep them updated on upcoming events, Wednesday nights, and Sunday morning gatherings. It is a great way to stay connected with everything going on with the youth group. Sign up below!
