Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ

This week we continue on in our series What is the Gospel? with the first half of Romans Chapter 6. Paul writes a lot about being baptized with Christ in both His death to sin and becoming alive in Christ. We are commanded to turn from sin, since we have proclaimed we are dead to it, by confessing Jesus as Lord & Savior. Our attitude towards sin should be one of rejection, not of embrace. Since we are alive in Christ and ought to turn from sin, then we should be intentional to live with and for God in all we do.
