The Cross & The Towel

We continue in our series Celebration of Discipline to take a look at Submission & Service. These are two foundational spiritual practices that are essential to the Christian Life. We are called to initially submit to God, surrender our life and serve Him, but it does not stop there. We enter into a relationship which requires us to continually submit, surrender and serve. The more we give God, the more He does in us, with us and through us. If we do this out of the love God has loved us with, it will be joyful, but if we do this out of obligation, it will be painful. We are called to let the love of God in, and transform us as we invite Gods power and strength to submit all things to Him for His glory and our best.
