Friendships that Form Us

Today Pastor Erin continues our series Forging Friendships as we look at a story in Scripture where God used an unlikely friendship between two prophets to shape history. In the story of Elijah and Elisha, God brings two unlikely friends together for the purposes of His mission in the world. This friendship not only served a purpose in God’s larger story, but also allowed one person to form and shape another into the person God was calling them to be. In our own lives too, God brings about friendships in order to change us to be more like Him.
