No Favorites: The Unseen are Seen

May 10, 2026    Erin Wood

We continue in our series through James 2:1–13, as James challenges his readers around how easily they can overlook, judge, or show favoritism toward others, and how radically different the heart of God truly is. We wrestle with how God invites us to become people who see the unseen, resist partiality, and reflect the mercy of Christ in the way we love others. On a day that holds both celebration and complexity, this sermon offers hope to anyone who has ever felt overlooked, reminding us that in God’s kingdom, mercy triumphs over judgment.
