Day 24: by Juno Smalley
Today is a day that many people anticipate for days, weeks, and months (if not the entire year). In a way, this season just might be ‘the happiest time of the year,’ not because of the things we have, but because of how Jesus expresses his Hope, Joy, Peace and Love.
Today we are reminded of the deepest meaning of life is really found in Jesus. Jesus gives us purpose and meaning. Today, be intentional in finding a few moments to reflect on the Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love that only Jesus can bring.
Lets be intentional in our prayers and actions to strive to experience the most meaningful Chrismtas ever. In the hopes of our faith not being hijacked by things and wants, I’m reminded it all comes down to my heart and my mindset. It’s me, and it’s you, who needs to make room for Jesus on this Holy Night.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
As you know, the more we focus on Jesus as the glimmer of Christmas, the more we can manage our expectations about this holiday and experience a deep and meaningful year in 2025.
Let's remember Jesus is Joy to the World and the one who brings peace, a peace that passes all understanding to our hearts.
See you and a friend, today for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (it really is beautiful) either at 1 or 4 pm. If you can’t be here, then join us online Live.nl-cc.org.
